Mockup-Based User Testing with VerifyApp →
Haven’t tried this yet, but it looks both easy and useful. Apparently you can do things like heat-map and memory testing using just a mockup.  No HTML necessary. Seems helpful for a lot of situations. See also: Optimizely

Close Pixelate
David Desandro’s cool method of turning photos into Chuck Close-esque mosaics, rendered in pure HTML5. I’m still not entirely sold on the benefits of rendering images as HTML in general, but this strikes me as a potentially interesting (and scalable) way to take a favorite photo and turn it into a wall-size poster.
